Bob North Wins WOBA Singles

Bob North came through the back end at the 2010 WOBA singles event. He beat Remi Canuel in the final match to take the top spot. Bob got through the semi final with a close  match with international Mark Sanford to advance to the final. In the other semi it saw 3 time bowler of the week Kevin Jones lose a close match with Remi to set the stage for the final match. Congrats to both players on making it to the final.

The Western Ontario Bowling Association is still one of the most prestigious bowling events in North America. In it’s 115th consecutive year, the W.O.B.A. remains the oldest tournament on the continent.
With over  $19,000  in prize money and prizes the tournament attracts bowlers from all over the globe.
Open Fours commence on Sunday and continues into Monday with the finals on Monday evening Fairmont 7.00 pm..
Tuesday is Open Singles.. both Fairmont and Woodstock venues are used with the finals being held at Fairmont at 7.30pm..
Wednesday and Thursday are Mens and Womens Pairs..with the finals at Fairmont at 7.00pm..always a fun enjoyable event..
The week concludes with Mixed Pairs..lots of fun giveaways.. door prizes etc.. Lunch is Included..
