Kiwis take day one…..

The New Zealand outfit has staged a stunning fight back on the opening day of the Trans Tasman test series in Invercargill to draw first blood against Australia. In a reversal of fortunes from the morning session- which Australia won 3-1 on the back of impressive wins to Aron Sherriff and Kelsey Cottrell in the singles, as well as a 17-10 triumph in the women’s fours- the Kiwis clinched all four rubbers in the afternoon to go 1-0 up in both the men’s and women’s series at the Waihoai Bowling Club.
