World Championships Report….

It has been a long couple of weeks at the World Championships and Team Canada has impressed on many levels. Stevie played his last games today as the Men’s Triples won both of their games and finished in the top 15.

Team Canada still has high hopes as we have guaranteed medals in the Men’s Singles and Men’s Pairs. As Ryan Bester has continued to put on a show at the Worlds going 11-0 through round robin and now 10-1 with John Bezear in the Pairs. There will be some streaming of the games and will have it live at the club for all our members to watch. Keep going Boys you can do it!!!!

Kelly Mckerihen who visited our club on Awards Day is right in the hunt as well as she qualified for the Playoffs in Singles and will play in the quarters later this week to keep her quest for a World Title on the go.

Congratulations Team Canada on a job well done. You represented our Clubs, Province’s and Country with honour!!! Safe travels home and enjoy the rest of your time their.
